A Chicago man has been charged with murder and attempted murder after a fatal shooting last month, according to police.

Chicago police chased a car full of suspects from an armed robbery from DuSable Lake Shore Drive onto the Dan Ryan Expressway and then into the West Lawn neighborhood where one of them was taken into custody.

Jada Beatty, 26, has been charged with eight felony counts of aggravated battery after being arrested Tuesday in the 100 block of North Wabash Avenue, according to Chicago police.
