generating white gaussian noise in matlab using two different functions
I want to know the difference between the two Gaussian noises generated below? Which one is white and how can i make the other one white? y=wgn(1,10000,0) and y=randn(1,10000);

How to add white gaussian noise to an image in Matlab?
use y=wgn (m,n,p) command in matlab. it generates a mxn matrix of white Gaussian noise. p specifies the power of y in decibels relative to a watt.

Matlab: White noise with flat/constant power spectrum
I tried the matlab built-ins wgn(m,n,p) and randn(m,n) to get vectors of white noise, and then used different combinations of the periodogram/pwelch/dspdata.psd functions to check what I believe to be the power spectrum.

matlab - How to Simulate AWGN (Additive White Gaussian Noise) in ...
To create Band Limited AWGN all you need is randn in MATLAB. The question lies only in how to set its Standard Deviation. To illustrate that, let's assume our AWGN generator has PSD which equals to $ {N}_ {0} $. Namely we have AWGN with zero mean and variance equals to $ \delta (0) {N}_ {0} $. Assuming we have limited bandwidth channel, hence an ideal LPF is applied. Assume its cutoff ...
